First team: Boots 22-5 Ollerton
Ollerton travelled away to Boots in a confident mood having recorded a home win in their
last encounter but came up against a well drilled, organised side.
Ollerton started well, pressurising the Boots defence in the first five minutes but on the
seven minute mark Ollerton conceded a penalty in their own twenty two for not retiring ten
metres. 3-0.
The next twenty minutes saw the game swing the home sides way as they continually
pressurised the Ollerton defence.
Just after the half hour Ollerton had a prop yellow carded for ten minutes and the
pressure being applied by Boots was rewarded by a quickly taken penalty resulting in the
centre going over under the posts, converted. 10-0
This was shortly followed by another try on the thirty seven minute mark with the boots
other centre going through for a fine try, not converted 15-0
The second half continued with Ollerton again under pressure until a sliced Boots
clearance fell to Ollertons seasoned winger Eric Cranmer who easily handed off his
opposite number to score a fine individual try, not converted 15-5.
The next thirty minutes saw the game being played in mid field with neither side able to
take the advantage until the final minutes of the game when the Boots centre again broke
free to score under the posts.

| Second Team: Ollerton 31 Dronfield
8 The last game before Christmas proved to be a thrilling
encounter between two committed teams.
Ollerton opened up the scoring early on with a fine driving maul which saw forward, Andy
Hines going over for a well worked try.
Dronfield came back with a well struck penalty within ten minutes 7-3.
From that moment onwards Ollerton made full use of the speed of their young set of backs
with trys coming from Jamie Price, Stuart Godfrey, Billy Stevens and Blanco, Stevens
kicking three conversions.
The Dronfield side came back with some good rugby but the Ollerton defence held on until
the seventy eighth minute when the Dronfield winger Adamson scored out wide.
