Second Team:
Third Team: Ollerton 0 vs Mellish 19

Ollerton were at home to Mellish and fell 0-19. Ollerton won the toss and opted to play down the "slope" with the wind behind them. This proved to be the right decision with Ollerton encamped in the Mellish half for the first half an hour. Hooker Eddie Jackson came close when he crashed over the line amongst a mellee of bodies to ground the ball with the referee unsighted, no try given. Ollerton came close on a number of occasions but could not breach the Mellish defence. The last five minutes of the first half saw Mellish score a well deserved try against the run of play, not converted 0-5 at half time. In the second half, Mellish took full advantage of the wind and "slope" to further extend their lead with two more tries. Ollerton defended well but the failure to turn first half pressure into points proved to be the deciding factor.
